A functioning quality assurance system is dependent on regular communication of results and challenges within the organisation.

The quality assurance system for education at the University of Bergen is based on processes related to reporting to national authorities (the Ministry of Education and Research) and internal evaluation procedures. The evaluation procedures are described in the Handbook for Quality Assurance. Evaluations shall primarily be considerd by the leadership at the appropriate level. However, a central principal is that the evaluations shall be publicly available.
UiB, therefore, has established its own report database (in Norwegian only), where evaluations are posted and available as needed. Through the database one can also access templates and registration form for the evaluation report.
