Checklist for new international students: This is what you need to know to complete the necessary registrations and formalities during semester startup at UiB.

Remember that attendance is mandatory on the opening session
Failure to attend the first day of study may result in you losing your place on the programme. Mandatory attendance is only disregarded in special cases:
- Documented illness.
- Other documented and particularly compelling reasons.
Holidays and work are not valid reasons for absences. If you have lost your place on the programme, you must apply again next year.
