Halland leder forskningsprosjektet «How Norway Made the World Whiter», som er finansiert av Norges forskningsråd (Forskerprosjekt for fornyelse, 2023 – 2028).
Intervju om Hallands nye forskningsprosjekt 'Deep Surface: Rethinking Surfaces in the Age of Technology (c. 1900 – today) with Architecture and Design'
Artikkelen "'With-On' White: Inconspicuous Modernity with and on Aesthetic Surfaces, 1910–1950" av Ingrid Halland og Marte Johnslien er første forskningspublikasjonen om titanhvitt, og ble publisert av Aggregate i januar 2023.
