Kathy Willis appointed Principal of St Edmund Hall, Oxford
Former EECRG Professor II Kathy Willis has been appointed as the next Principal (=Master or Head of House) of St Edmund Hall, one of the University of Oxford's colleges.

Kathy will take up her position on the 1 October 2018. Teddy Hall - as St Edmund Hall is commonly called in Oxford - is the oldest academic society for undergraduate education in any university. Its actual date of foundation in uncertain, but is either 1236 or 1278 CE. It has the last surviving medieval hall in the University of Oxford. Teddy Hall is an attractive, small, and friendly College with about 400 undergraduates, 300 graduate students, and 75 fellows.
Kathy says of her new position "I am delighted to have been elected to this exciting position. St Edmund Hall has always had a reputation as a friendly, forward-looking and high-achieving community. I look forward enormously to working with everyone in the College on the next phase of its history."
