Bjørn Sundland from BKK will present his talk "Liquid hydrogen to decarbonize maritime transport in Norway" on Tuesday 14 of April.

Abstract: "BKK and co-operation partners are Equinor, Air Liquide, Norled, Wilhelmsen, Viking Cruises, NORCE, NCE Maritime Cleantech and NorSea Group. The project partners aim to develop, build and operate a liquid hydrogen value chain supplying maritime applications in Norway. Liquid hydrogen can be a cost-competitive zero-emission fuel when produced in large scale volumes, and offered an efficient logistics chain including safe and robust bunkering operations. The consortium consists of partners with a high degree of implementation capability both financially and in regards of experience and competence. This project will analyse, develop, and engineer a liquid hydrogen value chain, which the partnership intends to build, commission and operate. The aim is to supply liquid hydrogen to the Norwegian maritime market in Q1 2024."
