Energy use in Norway
Jarand Hole, section for energy use and technology at NVE, will give us an insight into energy use in Norway.
Norway is one of the most electrified countries in the world. Yet, there are still many sectors that use fossil fuels. I will break down the Norwegian energy use and look at what energy carriers are used where, and more important, what can be done to replace fossil fuels in the different sectors. I will also touch upon what the future holds for energy use in Norway, focusing on the future demand for electricity and what drives this.
