COVID-19-related worries: A longitudinal study comparing migrants and non-migrants in Norway

The study titled “COVID-19-related worries: A longitudinal study comparing migrants and non-migrants in Norway” investigates the differences in COVID-19-related concerns between migrant and non-migrant populations in Norway.
Key findings include:
- Higher anxiety levels: Migrants reported higher levels of anxiety related to COVID-19 compared to non-migrants.
- Economic concerns: Migrants were more worried about the economic impact of the pandemic, including job security and financial stability.
- Health concerns: Both groups expressed concerns about health, but migrants were more worried about access to healthcare services.
- Social isolation: Migrants experienced greater feelings of social isolation due to the pandemic.
This research highlights the need for targeted support and interventions to address the specific worries and challenges faced by migrant groups during the COVID-19 pandemic
