Projects in Image Processing

Here you can find a list of problems that are suitable for both master's and PhD projects in image processing. There are several exciting possibilities for interdisciplinary collaboration locally, nationally and internationally.

Projects with only a title

  • Statistical tissue classification of multichannel image data (e.g. multispectral MRI, fluorescence microscopy).
  • Pharmacokinetical modelling in dynamic MR and PET images with contrast medium.
  • Non-rigid registration and motion correction in dynamic images.
  • Estimation of physiological parameters (blood flow, volume, permeability) in perfusion imaging.
  • Fibre-tracking in diffusion-tensor imaging.
  • Estimation of brain connectivity and activity.
  • Strain and shape modelling in medical ultrasound imaging.
  • Space-time modelling of biological processes (cancer, angiogenesis) based on PDE models.
