EMAPS
Ethiopian Malaria Prediction System

EMAPS is a cooperation between the University of Bergen (Center for international health, the Bjerknes Centre) and Addis Ababa University, Arba Minch University and National Meteorological Agency of Ethiopia. The project consists of an education part and a research part. EMAPS will contribute to educate Ethiopian scientists on master and PhD level in climate and healt related questions. In addition, the project will map the relation between malaria outbreak and variation in precipitation and/or temperature together with the development of a predictive system for malaria.
