Joan Sala is a biology bachelor student from the University of Barcelona (UB). During the fourth year of his bachelor he has to carry out a thesis, so he decided to come to Bergen and join the EvoFish group!

In his thesis, Joan is studying the possible effects of the size selection into the personality (boldness–shyness) and mating behaviour in guppies as well as the relationship between these two traits. The thesis is supervised by Beatriz Díaz Pauli.
