Presentation for patient interest group
Presentation for the Norwegian National Organization of Stroke Survivors
At a meeting of the Norwegian National Organization of Stroke Survivors in Western-Norway on 11th February 2015 Iris Brunner gave a talk about the VIRTUES study and technically assisted rehabilitation
This was the first meeting of this patient interest group where research was presented. There was considerable interest in new approaches to retraining arm motor function. One participant emphasized that the possibilities of new technology-assisted rehabilitation should be made better known among patients and health personnel. The participants had also the opportunity to try out the YouGrabber. Several of them did and seemed to enjoy the training.
