Your step-by-step guide on how to apply for exchange to the University of Bergen (UiB).
You have to be nominated by your home university to apply for exchange at the University of Bergen (UIB). Contact your home coordinator to find out if you are elegible for exchange at UIB.
Nomination period:
Please note that the University of Bergen does not admit Free Movers.
As soon as your home coordinator has nominated you in UiBs nomination portal, you will receive two separate emails from UiB:
Mail no. 1: Password and link to access Søknadsweb (UiB online application portal).
Mail no. 2: Relevant information about the application procedures and deadline.
You must log in with your registered email address and password.
Check if the emails have been sent to another email address (your student email or your private email).
If you have not received any emails from UiB:
Remember to check your email regularly, including the spam filter.
The email no-reply@uib.no should be whitelisted in order to be able to get the password.

Applicants to Music performance and Music composition must apply in EASY online application system by 1 March every year.
Due to the current situation in Europe, the Norwegian government has suspended all bilateral cooperation agreements between Norway and Russia. All student exchange have been put on hold. The Russian-Norwegian Scholarship scheme will be unavailable in the academic year 2022.
Erasmus+ ICM students are participants in the Erasmus+ programme from some of UiB's partner universities which are located in countries outside Europe.
