Min forskningsaktivitet har hovedsakelig fokusert på hvordan insekter påvirker planters blomster-evolusjon og reproduksjonssuksess gjennom pollinering, spesielt i fjelløkosystem. Jeg forsker også på hvilken betydning insektpollinering har for jordbruksproduksjon i Afrika. Videre er jeg interessert i hvordan klimaendringer kan påvirke plante-pollinator interaksjoner. Jeg har også forsket mye på hvordan klimaendringer kan påvirke dynamikken til plantepopulasjoner og plantesamfunn, spesielt i alpine økosystemer.
