Jeg er opptatt av hvordan vi kan tilby best mulig behandling til personer med psykiske lidelser, særlig tvangs- og angstlidelser. Dette er en gruppe der lidelsen ofte stjeler livet i stor grad, og hvor riktig hjelp kan ha veldig mye å si i livet for den som er rammet.
Jeg er også veldig interessert i hvordan vi kan bruke biologiske markører til å finne ut hvordan psykisk lidelse utvikles, opprettholdes, og hvordan effektiv behandling fører til endringer i kropp og hjerne. Dette forskningsfeltet har et stort potensiale til å øke vår forståelse av hvordan hjernen fungerer og hvor plastisk den er.
