I graduated as a PhD from the University of Bergen in 2016. My project evaluated signal transduction in blood leukocytes as biomarkers for environmental stress exerted on the healthy population. During postdoctoral studies at Karolinska Institutet I gained experience with single-cell approaches to study the immune system in metabolic disease. Today I aim to utilize these experiences during studies of autoimmunity, specifically immune mediated adrenal failure, also called Addison´s disease.
