De siste årene har jeg bidratt med mer enn 50 intervjuer årlig om søvn, døgnrytme og søvnlidelser i norske aviser/magasiner/radio/TV. Jeg mener det er svært viktig å øke folks kunnskap om søvn og konsekvensene av dårlig/lite søvn. Selvhjelpsboken min "Bedre søvn. En håndbok til deg som sover dårlig", utgitt på Fagbokforlaget, er vist i en randomisert kontrollert studie å hjelpe personer som sliter med insomni. Jeg har også forfattet lærebøker om Søvnsykdommer og Ungdomssøvn.
Jeg har de siste årene gitt mer enn 150 foredrag om søvn, døgnrytme, skiftarbeid og behandling av søvnlidelser til leger og annet helsepersonell.
