Jeg er førsteamanuensis II ved Vestlandets forskerskole for pedagogikk- og utdanningsforskning (WNGER II) og Institutt for pedagogikk ved UiB. Jeg er også førsteamanuensis i engelsk fagdidaktikk ved Institutt for lærerutdanning ved NTNU.
Forskningsinteressene mine er hovedsakelig på undervisning, læring og digitalisering i høyere utdanning, spesielt utviklingen av profesjonsfaglig digital kompetanse (PfDK) i lærerutdanningen. I tillegg forsker jeg på datastøttet språklæring i engelsk og fremmedspråkslæring, og jeg er jobber med tematikker innen doktorgradsutdanning og veiledning.
