Hanne Rosendahl-Riise er førsteamanuensis ved Seksjon for ernæring. Rosendahl-Riise har bakgrunn både som klinisk ernæringsfysiolog og forsker og har tidligere jobbet ved sykehus på Vestlandet med ernæringsbehandling innen fedme-, geriatri- og underernæring. Hun skrev sin doktorgradsavhandling om kostholdsprediktorer for osteoporose og sarkopeni. Nå har hun et bredt forskningsfokus innen ernæringsepidemiologi, folkehelseernæring og kliniske intervensjoner. Hun har også forskningsinteresser innenfor medisinsk pedagogikk, og hun leder det HKDir-finansierte prosjektet MEST-ERN som undersøker bruk av medstudentveiledning i praksis for ernæringsstudenter.  Hun er leder for ernæringsutdanningen, og underviser og veileder bachelor-, master- og Ph.D. kandidater innen ernæring.
