Ingfrid Haldorsen er lege og spesialist i radiologi med lang klinisk erfaring innen abdominal- og gynekologisk radiologi. Hun disputerte i 2009 og har siden 2013 vært ansatt i bistilling som professor i radiologi ved UiB. Siden 2020 har Ingfrid Haldorsen ledet Mohn Medical Imaging and Visualization Centre. Forskningsgruppen hennes Bergen Cancer Imaging Research Group jobber særlig med gynekologisk kreftavbildning og samarbeider tett med Bergen gynekologiske kreftforskningsgruppe ved Kvinneklinikken/UiB.
