Eg freistar gjennom mi forsking å auke forståinga av fenomenet (og dynamikken i) vitskapleg kontrovers rundt samtidige, gamle, nye og gryande miljø- og helserisikoar.
Eg jobbar/har jobba med omstridt vitskap i felta klimaendring, nedgang i pollinering, analyser av fiskebestand, hormonforstyrrarar, elektromagnetiske felt, nanopartiklar, underjordisk lagring av CO2 og risikomigrasjon i berekraftige teknologiar.
I tillegg til stillinga som professor ved Senter for vitskapsteori (SVT) er eg også gjesteforsker ved Universiteit Utrecht, Nederland og gjesteforskar ved Coöperatieve Universiteit Amersfoort (eit folkeforskingsinitiativ).
