Forsker på hvordan vi mennesker påvirker de biologiske artene rundt oss, spesielt effekter av klimaendringer på vegetasjonen i fjellet. Klimaet har endret seg i løpet av de siste tiårene, og vi observerer at mange planter og dyr også endrer sin utbredelse som et resultat av dette. For å bevare det biologiske mangfoldet er det viktig å forstå hva som gjør at noen arter kan klare seg bra når klimaet blir varmere mens andre arter vil få problemer.
Underviser i BIO102, som er et kurs i grunnleggende økologi og artskunnskap. Vi har også laget en app som et hjelpemiddel i undervisningen, og er også interessert i hvordan bruken av digitale hjelpemidler kan brukes for å øke motivasjon og læring.
