Jeg jobber med atmosfæredynamikk ved midlere breddegrader og fokuserer på diabatiske prosesser, interaksjoner mellom luft og hav, baroklinisk ustabilitet og stormutvikling.

Jeg er også interessert i polarmeteorologi, som for eksempel polare lavtrykk, kaldluftsutbrudd, prosesser i det stabile grenselaget samt snøskredvarsel.
