Eg forsker på dyr som lever ved varme kjelder, kalde gassoppkomme og organiske nedfall i djuphavet. Eg er interessert i evolusjonshistoria til desse dyra, og bruker fylogenetiske analyser for å finne ut meir om kvar dei har komt i fra og korleis dei har tilpassa seg desse unike habitata. I tillegg undersøkjer eg genetisk konnektivitet mellom ulike geografiske område, og bruker molekylære verktyg til å bidra til artsavgrensing og identifisering av nye artar.
