Medisinsk overaktivitet (overutredning, overdiagnostikk og overbehandling), medisinsk etikk og kommunikasjon, sykdom i skjæringspunktet mellom biologi, kultur og mening, medisinsk uforklarte plager og symptomer (MUPS), depresjon i allmennpraksis.
Undervisningstemaer: Klinisk epidemiologi og beslutningslære, medisinsk overaktivitet, psykiatri i allmennpraksis, kommunikasjonsferdigheter.
Grunnutdanningen i medisin ved Universitetet i Bergen: Pasientkontakt (MED2), introduksjon til allmennmedisin (MED4), videogrupper (MED11), samtaleteknikker ved psykiske lidelser i allmennpraksis (MED12), oppfølging av kronisk sykdom i allmennpraksis (MED12), personsentrert behandling (ELMED211).
