I have published books on research methods in the study of religions (2011, 2021), the demise of religions (2021), global religious history in the 20th century (2020), Zoroastrianism (2002, 2004, 2005, 2015), magic (2012), religion and tourism (2011), theories of religion (2009), ritual theory (2005, 2006), and the figure of Zoroaster in early modern Europe (1998).
