Human Geography concerns the dynamics between nature, environment and society

Our research focuses on societal development in different parts of the world, covering a range of scales from larger cities to rural communities. We are interested in issues concerning human activity, environment, industries, government, and organizational bodies. We address the pressing global challenges formulated in the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

A human geographer has a comprehensive understanding of the complexity of societal problems, and conducts research using a variety of methodological approaches.
