The National graduate school in structural biology

The National graduate school in structural biology – BioStruct, is established as an arena for promoting structural biology in Norway and to provide expertise and tools for the research education in the field.

Approximately 50 students from 35 research groups at 6 universities are registered in the graduate school. At the University of Bergen several students from Department of Biomedicine and Department of Molecular Biology are associated with the PhD school.

Approximately 10 national PhD courses have been established. The PhD students get their travel and accommodation covered by the graduate school when attending courses arranged by BioStrcuct.

Local contact person is Professor Øyvind Halskau at the Department of Molecular Biology.
