June 4-6: Fashion a scientific story by implementing the elements of craft

This course will go through a step-by-step method to present your scientific work within the confines of a story. We will discuss the elements of craft used by seasoned fictional storytellers and relate these elements to a scientific story: Title, Abstract, Introduction, Results and Discussion.

Syllabus

Be prepared to go into  a critical analysis of an accepted scientific manuscript via a  workshop format. Time will also be alloted to workshop the scientific  work of the participants in this course with the intent of  implementing elements of craft into your scientific story.

The course is open to anyone interested in improving their skills in scientific writing, including PhD-students, post docs, researchers and permanent staff.  Limited number of seats, admission will be on first-come first-serve basis.
