Nordplus Network in Political Science

The Nordplus Network in Political Science consists of 19 partner institutions from the Nordic countries.

Hovedinnhold

The network provide mobility opportunities to students within the Nordic countries and will work to increase educational cooperation within Political Science.

Information on long-term student mobility

The network allow for student mobility of advanced BA-level students (third year) and MA-level students. Please contact your home university for information and requirements at the institution(s) you want to apply for.

Mobility to/from Faraoe Islands (Nordplus funding)

- Please apply to your home university. Your home university will nominate successful applicants to the partner institution and notify the network coordinator. You will be required to provide a Learning Agreement and Confirmation of Enrollment.

Mobility between all other institutions (Erasmus+ funding)

- Please apply to your home university. Your home university will nominate successful applicants to the partner institution and provide you with information regarding your Erasmus+ grant and requirements.

 

Call for short-term student mobility 2020

Through the Nordplus Network in Political Science you can get a grant to study at one of the partner institutions for a shorter period. If you are not able to have a long-term mobility period as part of your degree this can be a way of gaining valuable international experience.

What can I do?

You can go abroad to take a short or intensive course, summer school course or do a work placement in an organization/company. The study period or placement must be recognized as part of your degree.

  • Short-term student mobility or work placement from 1 to 2 months
  • Express mobility under 1 month (minimum 5 days)

How do I get a grant?

Contact the international coordinator at your institution. The local coordinator makes a nomination if the proposed short-term mobility can be recognized.

Call for teacher mobility 2020

Through the Nordplus Network in Political Science you can get a grant to teach at one of the partner institutions. Teaching mobility can be used to support ongoing educational cooperation and be a way for young scholars to gain international teaching experience.

What activities are supported?

The exchange can include teaching, tutoring, development of teaching materials, etc. It is also possible to use these grants for activities connected to work placements and collaboration with the labour market.

The minimum duration of the teacher exchange is eight teaching/working hours. Normally a teaching mobility last for one week.
