Join SLATE in Celebrating Their 10-Year Anniversary!
On June 9th, 2016, in the University of Bergen Aula, the Centre for The Science of Learning and Technology (SLATE) was launched! Now, 10 years later, SLATE invites you to join them again to celebrate their anniversary!

The day celebrating SLATE's 10-year anniversary will be filled with short talks, a keynote by SLATE collaborator Dr. Paul Prinsloo (Professor, University of South Africa), posters and demos, and a surprise or two!
The theme of the event is “Where have we been, where are we going?”, celebrating SLATE’s past, present and future work.
A light lunch will be served, and a reception with mingling and refreshments will follow the main programme.

About SLATE
SLATE, the Norwegian national centre for learning analytics, is a leading research centre in the development of knowledge about how educational data can be used to support knowledge, learning, and teaching processes.
Drawing on interdisciplinary collaboration, they investigate the technological, pedagogical, cultural, ethical, and legal aspects of learning analytics (LA) and artificial intelligence in education (AIEd), and they promote the responsible use of technology in education.
SLATE gathers researchers from multiple disciplines, including information science, computer science, cognitive science, sociology, pedagogy and law, thereby conducting integrated research that will advance the frontiers of sciences of learning, as well as inform education practice and policy.
