Making your research visible and open using ORCID
This seminar will demonstrate how to use ORCID to showcase your work and make your research more open
ORCID is a researcher ID system, used by many journals and funding agencies to identify authors. But ORCID can be used for much more than just an ID - it can also function as an online record of your work and achievements. Having an online record of your research is a great way to showcase contributions to your field and open science engagement.
This seminar will demonstrate the main features in ORCID, including how to add works to your record quickly and easily using automatic import functions. This includes publications, conference contributions, peer-reviews, preprints, open datasets and code.
We will also share tips for making your research more open via ORCID, such as how to add datasets and links to openly archived versions of publications.
This course is in English. Use the "Påmelding" link in the course box to the right to register. The course will run if there are 5+ participants registered. A Zoom link will be sent to registered participants the day before the seminar.
