Master Seminar in Games Research

Are you a student in Bergen working on a master project dealing with topics relating to any aspects of games or play? The Network for Games Research at the University of Bergen invites master students in the final semester of their thesis work to a master seminar!

Hovedinnhold

What:

In the seminar the master students will receive constructive feedback on any part of theirmaster thesis by game researchers in UiB’s Network for Games Research. The purpose ofthe seminar is not to override project supervisors, but to provide master students with late-stage expert feedback on an excerpt from their master's thesis to help them prepare for the final submission of their thesis.

Participation in the seminar involves handing in an excerpt from your thesis for feedback by an expert in the field, represented by members from the Network for Games Research, and by one of the other participants. As a participant you are also expected to read and provide feedback on the draft submitted by one of the other master's students.

We accept master students in all areas of study in the social sciences, humanities, psychology, and beyond.

Lunch will be served.

How to participate:

Register for participation by March 27th using this form: https://skjemaker.app.uib.no/view.php?id=14473545

Accepted master students are expected to submit a chapter or excerpt of their master’s thesis that they would like concrete feedback on no later than April 13th. The text can be in English or Norwegian and should be no longer than 5,000 words.
