Hovedinnhold

We wish to welcome you all to the first Neuro-SysMed Annual Symposium! We have prepared a varied program which represents the main topics being researched at Neuro-SysMed. We have the pleasure to be able to have international leaders in their fields coming to give a talk, including Marie Vidailhet, Xavier Montalban, Vilhelm Bohr, Raymond Koopmans, Kailash Bhatia, Suvankar Pal, Li Fan, Tong Guanyu, Fredrik Piehl and Tim Friede, amongst others.

Registration: please use this link

Pre-final program: is available here

Please pay attention to the following conditions:

  • The subsidized registration fee is 3000 NOK  per person for the two days and one overnight stay with full board.
  • In order to enable us to accommodate 170+ participants in the 100 rooms available, we are dependent upon many sharing rooms (up to four). Please indicate possible roomates in the registration form (make an agreement with the person(s) too)

Open for talks: NOW CLOSED

We have made room in the program for talks based on submission of abstracts, available for both senior and junior researchers. Please click the designated box in the registration form if you are interested in doing a talk, and add title of the talk, plus author list if available. In addition, a one page oral presentation (talk) abstract in Word format needs to be submitted to Eli.Vidhammer@uib.no WITHIN AUGUST 23 to be considered. The NSM management will make a selection from the submitted abstracts.

Open for posters: NOW CLOSED

If you wish to present a poster, please fill in the designated boxes in the registration form. In addition, a one page poster abstract in Word format needs to be submitted to Eli.Vidhammer@uib.no WITHIN SEPTEMBER 1 to be considered, and to be included in the abstract book. Preferable poster format: Portrait (standing format) H120 x W85.

Students/PhD candidates must notice that the symposium is part of the research school course code “NEUROSYSM920 Seminars and Symposium”, and that to get the credits for attending, you also need to present your own research at the symposium, so either by talk or poster. Note the deadlines above.

Welcome!
