Title: Rigid connections and F-isocrystals

Abstract: We prove that cohomologically rigid connections on a smooth projective complex variety have integral monodromy (Simpson’s conjecture). We shall explain some of the ingredients of the proof, which make use  of Simpson’s and p-adic Simpson’s theory
