Pluvia attracts interest from new governmental seed funding

Sarsia Seed recently announced their new seed funds in Bergen consisting of 300 million NOK. Initial investment can be in the biotechnology company Pluvia founded by Prof. Aurora Martinez according to Sarsia officials.

The company Pluvia was established based on research headed by Prof. Aurora Martinez on the development of a new therapeutic option for phenylketonuria. The researchers in Biorecogintion group has discovered a small molecule compound with the ability to bind and stabilize mutant variants of phenylalanine hydroxylase and thereby rescue its activity.
