Project Summary

By using data from the Norwegian Citizen Panel, this project will explore Norwegian citizens' understanding of and opinions on energy and energy transition.

The analysis will be based on both quantitative and qualitative methods.

Research questions:

1. How do Norwegian citizens perceive energy, both fossil and different kinds of renewables?
2. How do their opinions vary across age, gender, education, job and domicile?
3. What are the factors which can explain the variation?
