Hovedinnhold

Between the 20-27 May 2019 the project Sea Slugs of Southern Norway went to Mandal near Kritiansand in Southern Norway where during a full week in collaboration with the Mandal Dykkerklubb sampled for sea slugs. Scientists from the Natural History Museum and University of Bergen (Cessa Rauch, Anders Schouw, Manuel Malaquias) and several citizen scientists that are active partners of the project, namely Tine Kvamme, Heine Jensen, Erling Svensen, and Nils Aukan, spend a full week collecting at least twice per day. At the end a staggering number of 48 species were collected, which accounts for just little less than 50% of the diversity known in Norway.
