BIW-10

The first staff week we offered in Bergen, BiW, was held in June 2010. BIW had 54 participants from 15 different countries. On the first evening of BIW, we had a guided tour of Bergen before everybody went up to Mount Fløien for BBQ. 

The concept of BIW was to contribute to international exchange of experience and networking for both participants as well as UiB's own administrative staff. We wanted to increase the knowledge of our guests of the university and the city- within a social and positive framework. This should be a contribution to continued good recruitment of both students and researchers to UiB from abroad.
