Staff Mobility Week 2019

SMW-19 was from 6th to 10th of May 2019.

Hovedinnhold

SMW-19 received 143 applications, and had 29 participants.

Head of the International Centre UiB Nina Gry Stein, welcomed the participants. 
Researcher Irene Baug, Project coordinator at the Medieval Research Cluster had a presentation about the Viking Age at the opening.
Monday ended with a guided city tour and dinner.
Tuesday night, the participants could visit the Lepra museum and go for a walk to Mount Fløien.
The all-day excursion on Wednesday went to Spurkeland viking farm and the Heathland Centre at Lygra. 
Before the closing cermony on Friday, we visted the viking exhibition at the University museum. 

This year we had three thematic groups:

Research administration
Organisation of your office, prioritization, work share and routines in proposal support: best practice
Digitalization to work smarter during support processes - does it work?
Mobilization of researchers and incentives
SSH integration into all research programs - best practice and challenges
Support for young researchers, talent programs, increasing chances and better training for MSCA and ERC candidates
Data management – how do institutions deal with this (also data protection, open access)?
Measuring success / success indicators

Study Administration
The theme was Erasmus+ International credit Mobility. This group was not open for applications as we invited a group of colleagues from selected partner universities in partner countries as well as two partner networks to participate in the event.
