A brilliant performance by Cecilie Sørensen during her MSc thesis

On January the 16th 2020 Cecilie Sørensen presented her Master Thesis at the Department of Biological Sciences, University of Bergen, with the title "Interpreting the polychromatic variation of the European nudibranch Polycera quadrilineata (O. F. Müller, 1776), with the description of a new species". Cecilie conducted her work at the Departmen of Natural History, University Museum under the supervision of Dr Cessa Rauch and Prof. Manuel Malaquias and her evaluation committee included Ass. Prof. Torkild Bakken from the Natural History Museum in Trondheim (NTNU, Trondheim). The presentation was brillant and is fair to say that Cecilie's work is an important contribution to our understanding of marine biodiversity in Norway and northern Europe, resulting on the description of a new species to Science. She was given an "A". Well done Cecilie!
