Hovedinnhold

The Covid 19-pandemic is dropping off, slowly but steady. But the experts are sure - there will be new pandemics. A microscopic virus can turn everything upside down.

Next time, the society needs to be better prepared, and it's important that we learn from all aspects of Covid19.

Are you curious about what other students and scholars in all subjects throughout Norway have been concerned about regarding the pandemic?

The Pandemic Centre welcomes all students to a national conference across subjects, ages and geography. We invivte you to Bergen to meet, learn from each other and tell societry how we can be better prepared for the next pandemic.

When: October 27, 2021, 1 to 8 p.m.

Where: Bergen Public Library

The main goal: To get to know other students with large and small projects about the pandemic. What topics, which methods and which goals do we cover together?

For whom: Students from upper secondary school, professional studies, bachelor students, master's, PhD, etc. who have assignments / studies related to the pandemic. All subjects and disciplines are invited.

What's in it for me?

Those who get their abstracts accepted, are offered a course in communication. All students who do not live in Bergen, and have been chosen to present their research at the student conference, will have their expenses covered.

We also organize a competition among the presentations, and the winners will be allowed to present their thesis at the conference "Psychosocial response when pandemics and natural disasters / climate change occur" on November 17 organized by the Center for Crisis Psychology (UiB).

In addition, 3 winners will receive a prize of NOK 1,500.
