Hovedinnhold

Microlearning, a successful technology-enhanced learning format is gaining attention lately among learning professionals in both higher education and  corporate settings. Specifically, the microlearning approach is well-suited for the learning needs of the current generation of learners. However, some questions remain on the effectiveness of microlearning as a viable instructional strategy.

In this presentation, using introductory programming courses as a study context, I would like to share our ongoing research on the influence of microlearning as an instructional approach and what we have found so far. I will also discuss how we could use these study findings into designing and developing microlearning content to maximize student learning outcomes.
