Hovedinnhold

In this presentation, Jonathan Økland Torstensen will discuss hydrogen production via electorlysis and natural gas pyrolysis respectively.  These two methods have their benefits and shortcomings, which will be discussed in this presentation. The goal is to increase efficiency, and for natural gas pyrolysis to discuss the role of carbon as an industrial chemical.

Jonathan Torstensen is associate professor at Western Norway University of Applied Sciences (HVL), Department of Mechanical and Marine Engineering.  He did his PhD in chemical engineering at NTNU in 2019 and has previously been engaged as a researcher at Clara Venture Lab until he joined HVL as an associate professor in 2021.
