Hovedinnhold

According to the document “National Cyber Security Strategy for Norway”, good preventive information security is increasingly important for national security. Currently, the Department of Informatics at UoB conducts high-quality research on cryptography, represented at the Selmer Center for Secure Communication.

Our group aims to apply cryptographic methods for studying the security aspects of Artificial Intelligence (AI). We shall investigate cryptographic approaches for attacks on AI and work on the application of existing protection methods in cryptography for AI. The research activities will be supported by the FRIPRO project "Cryptographic elements of trustworthy AI" during the period of 2025-2028.
