Welcome Mahima Gomladu, our new bioinformatician!

We are pleased to announce that Mahima Gomladu has joined our team at the Genomics Core Facility since November 2024.
Mahima has joined us to further improve our capabilities on bioinformatic analysis and support, helping us to develop solutions to address our users’ critical questions within genomics.

About Mahima:

Role: Senior Bioinformatics Engineer

Expertise: Specializing in high-throughput sequencing data pipelines (WES, WGS, RNA-seq, single-cell, spatial omics). Expert in VCF annotation, variant interpretation, gene expression analysis, pathway enrichment, and knowledge graphs. 

Experience: Experienced in developing and optimizing computational pipelines for high-throughput sequencing data, using scalable and reproducible workflows with Nextflow, Python, and R. Skilled in advanced data analysis, gene expression profiling, and pathway enrichment to extract biological insights. Support on experimental design, data-driven hypothesis generation, and multi-omics integration across diverse research projects.
