Collaboration on Supervison

For candidates enrolled in a PhD programme at UiB, with UiB as their working place, the main supervisor should be employed at UiB. For candidates with other institutional affiliations there will be other possibilities when it comes to organising the supervision:

For candidates enrolled in a PhD programme at UiB, with one of the other owner institutions as their working place, the main supervisor can be employed at the other institution, and the co-supervisor at UiB.

For candidates enrolled in a PhD programme at another institution, with this or a third institution as their working place, it is possible to work out an agreement on collaboration on supervision between UiB and the other institution(s). A Cotutelle agreement can be the solution for these candidates.
