Course description:
The course focuses on the laws, regulations and ethics related to research involving people and/or animals, and research data that is registered, processed, stored and published. The course is mainly offered to PhD candidates at the Faculty of Psychology, and consists of 2 days of lectures/seminars (17 hours) and the submission of a paper. A list of course literature and handouts will be provided.

Assessment / examination format:
Pass or fail. Pass with an attendance of the course and the approval of a paper. The deadline for submitting the paper is 3 weeks after the course. The paper should be no more than 5 pages (line space 1.5, font size 12). The paper should address issues related to research ethics in your own project.

ECTS:
The course credit is 2 ECTS. Please note that only PhD-candidates at the Faculty of Psychology are allowed to submit a paper after the course. Other participants will be credited 1 ect for course participation.
