At the institute we have a large number of Phd-students, both Norwegian and international. Here you may find interviews with some of the students were they talk about their project and how it is to be a Phd-student.

Over or around the mountains?

Clemens takes his PhD in Dynamical Meteorology. His PhD-project concerns how topography influences the large scale circulation.

Quantifying the impact of a Blue Arctic.

Erlend takes PhD in Climate Dynamics and his project deals with how a socalled Blue Arctic will affect the climate at high and mid-latitudes.

Giulio takes PhD in Meteorology and his research concerns orographic precipitation.

Martin takes Phd in boundary layer Meteorology. His project will lead to an improved understanding of turbulent momentum transfer in the lower atmosphere which in turn will improve today's weather forecast.
