There is great demand for expertise in occupational hygiene worldwide. University of Bergen (UiB) now offers courses in occupational hygiene related to this Master’s. This education will be a good foundation for any job in the area of work and health. This includes safety and health departments in various industries, in research and in public administration and supervision. Occupational hygiene in this context is restricted to: Identification and mapping of chemical, physical and biological environmental factors, evaluation of health risk and preventive measures.
