Your chance to ask the rectoral candidates about their plans for global and development-related research

UiB Global's Strategic Council for global and development-related research invites you to a rectoral election meeting, where team Atakan and team Olsen will offer their respective visions for global and development-related research at UiB.

We challenge them to make clear how they will facilitate and stimulate research and research-based teaching in this strategically prioritised field. This is your chance to ask the important questions!

Global and development-related research is one of the university’s two priority areas. In order to answer the big questions regarding poverty, development, health and sustainability, there needs to be a vision for the initiation and the organisation of multidisciplinary research.

Professor Gro Th. Lie will be the moderator at the meeting, which takes place on 19 March, from 13:30 to 15:30, at the Bergen Resource Centre for International Development (Jekteviksbakken 31). The event is open to all who wish to attend.
